Pastor William D. Yancy, Sr.

William D. Yancy was born and raised in Bellville, TX.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 12; he was baptized by his uncle, Pastor Alonzo Yancy, which was the pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where William was first religiously educated.

He attended Prairie View A & M University. He worked as a machinist for 30 years, and accepted his call to the Gospel Ministry in 1990.  He is well known for his intellectual teaching to many, as well as his preaching. He has been teaching the word of God for more than 25 years. Pastor Yancy is the Dean of the Ark of Love District Association.

Pastor Yancy, is also a family man; he is married to Geraldine, they have three children and seven grandchildren.

He has been the proud pastor of the First Elizabeth family since June 1999.  He strongly believes in teaching and preaching an uncompromising Gospel.
